Failing nails, repeated patch repairs and water ingress at the front valley. The original slates were carefully sorted, reusable material retained, and the roof rebuilt with new membrane, battens and code-compliant leadwork.

Heavy moss, porous tiles and failed ridge mortar were allowing wind-driven rain beneath the covering. We stripped the affected sections, renewed underlay and battens, then installed a clean dry-ridge finish.

An ageing felt roof had poor falls, standing water and split perimeter details. We redesigned the outlets, upgraded insulation and installed a seamless dark membrane system with new edge trims.
